“Building with you in mind” are not hollow or meaningless words to Jimmy Casto or his Team.  There was substantial thought, substance and concern that went into formulating the process and it is supported by honesty, integrity and clearly defined respect for every one of our customers.

We begin our planning/building process with an in depth analysis of our plans and the lot size; then structure a home price only after considering such components as:

  • WHO are our customers?
  • What are the projected NEEDS of our customers?
  • What quality does a Casto Homes customer WANT?
  • What quality does a Casto Homes customer EXPECT?
  • What QUALITY and IMAGE do we want to project to our customers?

A customer who is more concerned with dollar per square foot costs and analyzes only that information, at first will perceive that our home prices are not comparable with other builders.  Those customers that initially take the time to carefully analyze all of the critical components contributing to the finished product and price, as well as the resulting home owner satisfaction, will readily recognize the value of these components and comparisons.  Some of the the more readily recognizable components are:

Our unique custom plans are designed to fit the individual needs of the homeowner, as well as the lot on which the home is to be built.  Pricing these homes is just as unique a process as the planning.  We put all of the information out for you to see.  We have NO hidden costs.  And by understanding our customer’s needs we are then able to provide the needed allowance dollars to duplicate our models AS YOU SEE AND WANT THEM.

We understand that your home may be the largest single financial investment of your life, an investment that you want to appreciate, one that you can be proud of owning.  We don’t believe in showing you a model, representing a level of quality and then not providing you with the means to duplicate your choice.

If you prefer to enhance the quality of your home you will be charged for the upgrade amount.  If you are inclined to reduce the dollar per square foot costs you can simply choose ALLOWANCE components of lesser cost and you will receive the difference between the allowance dollars provided by us and actual choice costs as a credit at closing.  I will also add that even when “saving a dollar” you will more than likely still maintain comparable quality or component value to the other model homes you have visited.

We believe that you are entitled to what you see and select as well as what we show you in our model homes and/or on our plans which is just as important, as what we represent.   This is why some observers perceive our pricing to be higher than other builders.  Our challenge to you is we “DARE you to COMPARE” and you will see that we do provide you with the dollars to achieve the quality you want as well as the quality we represent even when you are saving a dollar.
